Amusement equipment specifications and safety standards The latest amusement equipment safety standards are GB8408 Amusement Equipment Safety Specifications, which have been implemented since August 2008. Many lag clauses have been cancelled and many new requirements have been added. The main changes are reflected in five aspects. First, the allowable acceleration value is added to the sliding category, such as 'roller coaster'. This is because when the 'roller coaster' descends from the highest point to the lowest point, the speed is very fast and the acceleration is very large. In order to prevent the passengers from being hurt, the acceleration should be limited within a certain range. Second, various loads are added, such as wind load, because when the wind force is above level 6, the speed of the wooden body plus the impact force, the passengers may be thrown out, which is very dangerous, and the amusement facilities must be stopped. Third, the safety factor has been adjusted and reduced. Originally, a common material can meet the safety requirements, so there is no need to use special materials. In the past, the safety factor was set too high, resulting in waste of materials and an increase in cost. Fourth, new requirements for security assessment and security analysis have been added. Fifth, the safety standards for water amusement facilities have been increased. Restraint device: It should be reliable and comfortable, and the parts that are in direct contact with the passenger have appropriate softness. The restraint device should be designed to prevent a certain part of the passenger from being pinched or crushed, and should be easy to adjust and operate. Seat belt: It can be used alone on the facilities with slight swing or slow lifting speed, no flipping and no danger of being thrown out. The use of seat belts should generally be equipped with auxiliary handles. For intense sports facilities, seat belts can be used as auxiliary restraint devices. Safety pressure bar: When the amusement facility is running, it may cause the danger of passengers being thrown out, a corresponding type of safety pressure bar must be installed; the wooden body of the safety pressure bar must have sufficient strength and locking force to ensure that tourists are not thrown out. or fall and remain locked until the device stops functioning. 3. Safety requirements for safety fences and platforms: Safety fences should be set up at the entrance and exit respectively. Guide fences should be set up at the entrance. The platform should have anti-skid measures. The opening direction of the safety fence gate should be consistent with the direction of travel of passengers (except in special circumstances). In order to prevent injury to personnel when the door is closed, the gap between the door frame and the column should be appropriate, or other protective measures should be taken. For amusement facilities that ride on and off while running, the entrance and exit of the passenger part should not be higher than the platform 300 2. The height of the entrance and exit of the passenger part of other amusement facilities from the platform should be easy to get on and off. 4. Other safety requirements Amusement facilities should set up eye-catching safety signs in necessary places and parts. Safety signs are divided into four types: prohibition signs (red), warning signs (yellow), instruction signs (blue), and prompt signs (green). No exposed sharp edges, sharp corners, burrs and dangerous protrusions are allowed where passengers can reach. The culvert through which the amusement facilities pass should be made of materials that are not easy to fall off, and the decorations should be firmly fixed. Safety standards for amusement equipment: 1. Safety insurance measures The overall structure of the passenger part of the amusement equipment running in the air should be firm and reliable, and insurance measures should be taken for its important parts. The number of wire ropes or chains used for suspending the passenger part shall not be less than two. The connection with the seat part must be considered to be able to maintain balance when one is disconnected. The door that closes the cabin above 1m from the ground must be equipped with two locking devices or a locking device with safety that cannot be opened by passengers inside. Blocks at the entrance and exit of the non-enclosed cockpit should also have a locking device with safety. When the amusement facility is in operation, the power supply is suddenly cut off or the equipment fails, which endangers the safety of passengers, and an automatic or manual emergency stop device must be provided. After the amusement equipment fails during operation, measures should be taken to relieve the passengers. 2. Passenger safety restraint device When the amusement facility is running, when the passenger may be moved, collided, or thrown or slipped out of the ride, a passenger restraint device must be provided. For more dangerous amusement facilities, two sets of independent restraint devices should be considered if necessary. Seat belts, safety bars, stop bars, etc. can be used.
