Chimelong Paradise in Guangzhou has officially launched its new flagship water ride Super Torrent(Name and model No. under Jinma catalog: Chute Ride JL-20D), a revolutionary log flume co-developed and manufactured by Jinma Rides, featuring the world’s first rotating lift system. This innovative ride redefines water adventure experiences, blending cutting-edge technology, immersive IP storytelling and smart operational design, quickly becoming a new highlight for park enthusiasts.
Breaking away from traditional linear lift log flumes, Super Torrent’s rotating lift platform lets the ride boat spin 360° while ascending vertically to a height of 21.5 meters (7 stories). Each rotation offers passengers a brand-new panoramic view, turning the climb into an immersive experience. At the peak, the boat glides suspended before diving into the water at a thrilling 64.4 km/h, creating spectacular splashes with a powerful mix of weightlessness and centrifugal force for an exhilarating ride.
Deeply integrated with Chimelong’s original IP Kaka the Tiger’s Great Adventure, Super Torrent sets the ride in a mysterious mine pit and abandoned research base backdrop. Visitors follow explorer Kaka’s clues along a misty waterway, stepping into a vivid adventure story and evolving from onlookers to part of the experience.
Engineered for practicality and sustainability, Super Torrent carries 120 passengers per cycle (20 per boat), with flexible boat operation adjustable for peak and off-peak flows. It is equipped with multi-layer safety systems including real-time monitoring and dual braking for all-round protection. The ride also adopts an efficient water circulation system and energy-saving drive technology, minimizing water and energy consumption for eco-friendly operation.
